Provide leadership for maintenance hourly associates. Supervises hourly team leads associates in all aspects of maintenance (planning, planned maintenance, stockroom inventory management, facilities and utilities maintenance and operation) to ensure optimal output of core processes while maintaining a quality focus and safe environment.- Staff, train, supervise, evaluate and develop team members.- Maintain equipment to ensure line efficiencies, improve key performance indicators and to eliminate down time.- Service and repair equipment on a continual basis, adhering to established preventative maintenance schedule.- Ensure that working conditions are safe at all times.- Maintain safe work enviornment by holding regular safety meetings to communicate safety awareness and policies.- Manage within labor and OPEX budget.- Maintain an accurate parts inventory at all times.- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and safety standards.- Create, plan and execute preventative maintenance programs.- Focus on core processes to deliver expected outputs daily, weekly, monthly.- Lead team to maximize productivity, efficiency and effectiveness by ensuring compliance to standard work and developing new standard work.- Support operation to help reduce overall costs.- Encourages sharing of best practices within the team; breaks down barriers to teamwork; resolves conflict effectively.- Proactive in providing feedback opportunities for team members and requesting feedback on his/her leadership.- Holds self and others accountable, appreciates others’ needs and perspectives and commits to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.- Ensures team has the knowledge, skills and resources to work with minimum supervision.- Builds buy-in from the team through productive, appropriately targeted and timely messages- Demonstrates the ability to translate difficult messages into everyday language; listens for understanding when working with associates of all levels in order to keep the team aligned and focused.- Executes organization long-term vision through continuous process improvement.- Adopts and shares best ideas.- Embraces and effectively coaches others on the importance of change and understands the positive role it plays in achieving our business goa Satisfy the needs and service requirements of the internal and external customers.- Ensure compliance to company and regulatory policies.- Respond to company needs with expert quality and timeli• High school diploma or equivalent required• Bachelor's Degree - technical or engineering, preferred.• At least 2 years in supervisory roles of people & processes• Demonstrated ability to lead teams showing improvement in plant KPIs.• Working knowledge of the principles of manufacturing management.• Working knowledge of specific supply chain capabilities, strategies and interdependencies.• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.• Working knowledge of basic elements of Good Manufacturing Practices in a manufacturing environment• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance to include ammonia, compressors, CO2 and HVAC.• Working knowledge of key business drivers used to gauge the effectiveness and performance of an internal group or supplier.• Plant Maintenance Management Software – prefer SAP/PM• Good Manufacturing Practices• Proficiency in MS Office applicationsPreferred Level• 2+ years maintenance experience• 2+ years manufacturing experience• 2+ years boiler maintenance and operation experience• Food and beverage experience• ISO (22000, 9000, 14001, etc.) or other management system• Lean, Six Sigma, 5S• Working knowledge of food safety• Continuous Improvement• Change Management• (PSM) Process Safety Management (if in a facility with 10,000 lbs. or more anhydrous ammonia)• TPM Certification• Microsoft Office• Project Management• Parts Inventory Management• Equipment Preventive Maintenance Management• Change Management• Leader of others• Maintenance Troubleshooting Training• Operational Excellence• Lean manufacturing conceptsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class..
