TASC has an immediate need for a junior/mid-level Software Engineer to serve as a Computer Network Operations (CNO) test engineer within our CNO development team. As part of TASCís CNO team, you will join an elite group of experts, in a fast paced, technology agile and highly dynamic environment, creating capabilities that support and defend Americans and our nationís critical interests worldwide. As the test engineer, you will:


  • Research, develop, and maintain the customerís custom test framework

  • Serve as the test focal point for the CNO development team

  • Provide technical assistance, assessments, and recommendations to CNO leadership (informal & formal)

  • Support CNO operations

  • Assist on other software development projects as necessary


Bachelorís degree from and accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar related discipline
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in the Intelligence Community or SIGINT activity

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in software development

  • Minimum one (1) year experience with test systems and principles

  • Experience with Visual Basic, Python, Java, Javascript, HTML and XML-based technolgies

  • Experience with forensic analysis software such as Encase, Forensic Toolkit (FTK), SIFT, IDA Pro and/or Wireshark a plus

  • Experience in CNO development a plus
