Job Responsibilities:†


Process Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR). The PQDR process provides timely quality feedback to activities responsible for design, development, purchasing, production, supply, maintenance, contract administration, and other functions so that action can be initiated to determine cause, take corrective action, and prevent recurrence.
Apply Quality Assurance principles and practices including testing, analysis, inspection, production and configuration management, to serve as an analyst on all matters related to design, manufacture, production, integration and fielding of a wide variety of aviation systems.
Conduct continuing review and evaluation of program effectiveness through review of reports, correspondence, data bases, field data, audits, and observation of internal operations.
Assists in the planning and coordination of QA evaluations, analyzes system failures and inadequacies, and ensures adequacy of efforts related to root cause and corrective action.
Assists in determining the optimum approach for implementing quality and reliability for aviation programs and assuring that all quality assurance efforts are carried through to completion.
Knowledge of quality assurance documents and activities such as quality plans, test procedures and reports, closed loop failure reporting and corrective action systems, failure analyses, quality management system documents, engineering changes/deviations/waivers, and quality control and assessment programs.


Experience/Education:


Army aviation background required.
One year of related experience, including planning, developing, implementing, and managing Quality, Reliability, and Test on all programs over their life cycle through practices including testing, analysis, inspection, auditing, process evaluation, control and improvement.
Proficient in MS office products, to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Bachelor's Degree
