My client runs a business where they print logos onto the fronts of work gloves. The site showcases gloves that can be purchased and some have the ability to be printed on and others, no. They'll be able to make the distinction between those that need the logo and those that don't when they process the order, so having the cart make the distinction itself isn't necessary.
