The main task here is to fix a postfix server's configuration. I’m sure a Postfix/Linux Configuration Specialist can probably do this in 10 minutes(but im not 110% certain)
I have a Suse 11.0 box with Postfix/Dovecot/ on it... Imap works fine... for a long time smtp and sending from localhost (webmail client) was fine too, as was remote imap/pop, but remote smtp would hang.
I realised that remote SMTP was hanging because of an ISP block of port 25 (i think) so I looked online editied master.cf to contain the extra line for an extra port (89). I also edited a couple of lines in main.cf for sasl_auth. So, now, remote clients can imap, as can localhiost. remote clients and local can now both also send mail .... but the mail all stays in the queue. So, the postfix queue has about 50 mails in it...
Config files, ssh's etc at the ready, as is my Paypal account :) would be a bonus, as its now urgent. I've got a couple of other guys on my company team so I need it working in the next couple of days... Id be very grateful for the help... or I could do a skills swap if you've got any projects you’re working on, I have copywriters, developers, PM's and designers....
