ECS is looking for a system administrator to manage a single Raid 5, hot swap, linux server running Redhat, Apache, webmail and cPanel. The server is 2 years old.

Server requirements are domain hosting, e-commerce, search engines, client email, bulk email, custom software based on php / mysql and auto-software duplication. We are currently running 8 virtual servers with various usage levels and a daily backup to external disk.

We carry active credit cards and have a concern for security from hacking and with regard to providing access to a server administrator. Please outline how you will protect our customers and ourselves from external hacking and when providing you with root access.

You will be required to work with php / mysql programmers to effectively deliver both ECS system management and system duplication as well as enhance data and email delivery.
